This gracious heritage-listed colonial house has recently been restored with modern facilities which makes it undoubtedly one of the finest accommodation centres in South Australia. The Old House can sleep up to 60 people in true colonial atmosphere. The ambience of this house creates the mood for quiet retreats, with the Lounge Room a peaceful refuge, and the Ballroom allows a space for meetings, family dinners, wedding receptions, etc. Modern well-equipped kitchen facilities are included, together with all catering equipment, crockery, cutlery, etc.
The beautiful outdoor chapel is the perfect romantic setting for a wedding. With the afternoon sun filtering through the leaves, birds singing, and the distant echo of water tinkling over the waterfall. - All sleeping accommodation is upstairs (58) with the exception of two single bunks downstairs for the disabled.
- Mattresses are provided, take your own pillow and sleeping bag or sheets and blankets.
- A modern shower/toilet block is offered with facilities for the disabled.
- A fully equipped kitchen and dining room provides adequate facilities for cooking (gas) and dining.
- The elegant old ballroom provides spacious facilities for all kinds of indoor activities.
- The Old House is centrally heated.
Cost
Includes use of the Conference/Ballroom and catering facilities.
Includes Challenge Hill, FrisNet golf, 7 orienteering courses and volleyball court.
No Amplified Music
All fees based on a minimum consecutive two-night stay, minimum 3-4 night stays apply for long weekends
Minimum persons — 30
Maximum persons — 60 (9 rooms)
Minimum Fee — $1650.00 inc GST ($27.50 per person/per night)
Deposit — $300.00 (to secure booking)
Wedding Package Special - $3000.00 (3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday) or $3500.00 for a 3 night long weekend (72 hours)
Arrivals & Departures
Arrival time: Between 2pm and 5pm.
Departure time: 10am.
Early arrivals and or late departures are by arrangement only, and are subject to previous bookings.
Cancellations
Payment is non-refundable if confirmed numbers do not attend. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
