Woodhouse Activity Centre is located on 54 hectares of undulating Gum Tree studded
countryside in the stunning Piccadilly Valley, just 25 minutes from the Adelaide
GPO. Woodhouse offers arguably the best group accommodation facilities in the
state, for school camps, conferences, families, weddings and almost any camping option that you can
conceive. Woodhouse offers three separate accommodation centres: the heritage-listed
'Old House' (up to 60 persons), The Bunkhouse (up to 50 persons) and The Rymill Centre
(up to 80 persons), along with unmatched under canvas camping and undercover cooking facilities (for up to 10,000).
One of the main attractions at Woodhouse is Woody's Challenge Hill, an outdoor adventure
course located over three sides of a hill. Participants climb, crawl, slide and
swing their way through some 40 different obstacles, which can be conducted in
either a fun or competitive manner. There are plenty of other activities offered
at Woodhouse, such as beautiful nature walks, orienteering, mountain bike tours, abseiling,
flying fox, and plenty of room for family and group activities such as BBQ's, games and
picnics.
