Indoor camping is a great year-round and weatherproof way to bring the outdoors inside. With a little effort, you can easily create a warm and inviting campsite that still feels connected to nature.
1: NO TENT, NO PROBLEM!
If you don’t have a tent or the space to set one up, with a bit of DIY creativity, you can recreate the magic with a sheet and rope. Click to see some set-up suggestions.
2: STARRY, STARRY NIGHT
Set the magical mood by stringing fairy lights around your tent and the room to recreate a starry twinkle.
3: HOW'S THE SERENITY?
Place your indoor houseplants around the tent to block off the views of furniture and feel a bit more in the outside.
4: MAKE A CAMPFIRE
Get crafty! Arrange a few logs from outside in a stacked pattern and add some orange and red tissue paper to resemble flames.
5: TAKE YOUR FUR-BABY!
Many campsites, including Woodhouse, are pet-free (for the safety and enjoyment of all guests)… but not this one!
6: VIRTUAL REALITY
Take advantage of your wi-fi by streaming a campfire, the night sky, or nature sounds from your TV.
7: LIVE VICARIOUSLY
Being inside means you can listen to podcasts, watch adventure movies, or play any game that you have on hand. Check out a list of movies about camping
