COVID-19 Safety at Woodhouse

Being outdoors on a 54 hectare property (that easily allows you to maintain social distancing), breathing in the fresh country air and being active remains a safe place for a family group who is not required to self-isolate, providing current standard public health and safety expectations are followed.

Before you arrive at Woodhouse:

  • If you or anyone in your care is showing signs of illness, stay at home. We'll still be here once you're feeling better!
  • Please click through to find a copy of our WAIVER and GUEST LIST for you to pre-fill for express check-in (printed copies available at check-in)

When you arrive, we ask that you:

  • Please limit to one person at a time inside the reception area.
  • Pay via contactless card
  • At all times, adhere to the recommendation that groups should not be larger than 10.

While at Woodhouse, we ask that your group pays particular attention to:

  • Maintain social distancing: 1.5 metres from the nearest person (outside of your household members)
  • Wash hands thoroughly and regularly, particularly after using the toilet and before eating. We have hand washing facilities and paper towel in all bathrooms.
  • Use alcohol based hand sanitiser, which can be located if needed in customer areas, however we recommend bringing your own supply when using activities.
  • Cover cough and sneezes into your elbow
  • Avoid unnecessary physical contact such as high fives and hugs etc. (the urge will be high when you conquer an obstacle on Challenge Hill!)

Additional precautions Woodhouse is taking to keep guests safe:

On the other side of this uncertainty and social disconnection, we know that camps and outdoor experiences have never been more important to people's mental and physical health and we welcome you with open arms (no touching, though!)

The health and safety of our visitors and staff is always our top priority. We meet regularly to discuss our ongoing response and ensure we have the latest information and we are closely following all advice received from Australian medical authorities, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO), regarding precautions that are needed to minimise risks concerned with COVID-19.

Our everyday practices regarding health and hygiene are already held in high regard however our cleaning regime in bathrooms and high touch point areas have been checked to ensure they meet COVID-19 related guidelines and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of our visitors.

Discs for Disc Golf, Tubes for Tube Sliding and orienteering maps are being sanitised after each use and you can freely enjoy weaving through the Labyrinth (with slide and fireman's pole being regularly sanitised), wandering down our Wetlands trail and going on Woodhouse Scavenger Hunt... or simply exploring the property in all its Autumn glory without a need to touch anything.
