Visitors can stay for a day or a week and we reckon we offer the most affordable, safe, convenient adventure experience in South Australia.
An obstacle course designed to bring people together as a team and challenge individual skill and bravery. It's designed to stretch people physically and mentally as they crawl, climb, swing and slide their way up the hill. It promotes strong team work and leadership skills. Allow 60-90 minutes
The world’s only giant split-level maze with a fun fireman’s pole, a slide and two flights of stairs adjoining the 2.8m drop from top to bottom tier. There’s a 135m direct route from start to finish but the experience can be extended to 537m by finding quizzes and riddles at each of the 17 dead ends. The internal panels on our labyrinth are interchangeable so the route can be changed up regularly to keep things exciting for regular visitors. Allow 10-25 minutes
Disc Golf shares the same joys and frustrations as traditional golf, whether it’s sinking a long putt or hitting a tree halfway down the fairway. Disc Golf players use a frisbee, which is thrown from a tee area to a target which is the elevated metal basket. Allow 30-45 minutes
TUBE SLIDE (weekends and public holidays only, excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day - weather permitting)
As the only Tube Slide in South Australia, this has fast become one of our most popular attractions. Think of a water-less water slide or a snow-free ski run where you slide down 100m+ synthetic slopes in big rubber rings that turn, accelerate, go up in bends and stop on their own. It’s fast, furious and fabulously fun! Allow 20-90 minutes
With 2.4-metre-high bouldering walls and more than 300 climbing holds, this all-weather activity is in our newly appointed indoor action space, Stag’s Activity Centre.
There are eight orienteering courses professionally designed by the Wallarinaga Orienteers. Varying in length from 1.6 to 2.8 km, participants use basic map reading and navigational skills to find the posts around the property that spell the special answer and/or match the photos with the correct checkpoints. Allow 45-90 minutes
Numerous walks available from Woodhouse leading to breathtaking destinations including the Mt Lofty Lookout Tower, Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens and Cleland Wildlife Park. The world famous Heysen Trail passes through the property and hikers can walk in either direction, adjusting distances and time to suit personal preferences. There are also many valleys and scenic ridge roads that provide hours of walking pleasure.
LASER SKIRMISH (pre-booking required, additional fee applies)
We’re convinced this is the best outdoor Laser Skirmish environment in SA. Located in a thick jungle-like setting with trees and boulder rocks to hide behind, Laser Skirmish at Woodhouse is a truly authentic outdoor experience. Offering the thrill and excitement of paintball without the pain or mess. The weapons fire a harmless infra-red beam and are self-contained with light-weight head sensors that are attached to the player. There are no vests necessary, making it easier to move around.
MT LOFTY ADVENTURE HUB (pre-booking required, additional fee applies)
