Piccadilly Weather

Planning your trip to the beautiful Adelaide Hills? It’s important to note that it’s generally around 4 degrees cooler in the Piccadilly Valley, so be sure to dress appropriately.

While Woodhouse operates 7 days a week, closing only when there is a catastrophic fire danger rating, there are certain weather conditions in which some activities will not be open for safety reasons. Further details on the activity pages.

Closed for private event

Please be aware that Woodhouse Activity Centre will be closed to the public for a private event on the 19th and 20th of October 2019.  Please plan your visit around these dates.

Adult recognition awards 2019

On 'World Scout Day' Scouts Australia (SA Branch) would like to recognise the outstanding achievement and contributions to the Scouting Movement, of Leaders and Supporters of Scouting who have been awarded Adult Recognition Awards on 1 August 2019.

The South Australian Branch Chief Commissioner Harry Long and SA President Mr Paul Dickson thank these adults for their dedication and commitment to Scouting on behalf of the many thousands of Scouts, both past and present.
