Theme: Belonging, Diversity & Inclusion 

Time: 1.5 - 3 hours 

Imagine walking into your workplace every day and feeling truly accepted for who you are — your ideas, your background, your unique perspective. How would that change your experience at work? Your motivation? Your wellbeing?

This workshop offers teams a structured opportunity to explore the meaning of belonging within their workplace. Through practices such as active listening, personal reflection, and collaborative creation, participants will co-develop a "Belonging Map" that highlights shared values and individual perspectives. This process aims to foster psychological safety, inclusivity, and a deeper sense of connection, ultimately enhancing overall well-being and team cohesion.

What you'll explore:

  • Gain insights into the significance of diversity, belonging and inclusion in the workplace, and understand why they are essential for organisational success

  • Reflect on personal experiences of inclusion and exclusion in the workplace 

  • Explore exercises that promote open dialogue and trust

  • Collaboratively identify and document shared values, team norms, and barriers to belonging

  • Co create the team's collective understanding of belonging and areas for growth.

Outcomes:

  • Enhanced sense of belonging and inclusion

  • Improved mental health and wellbeing 

  • Enhanced team collaboration and productivity 

  • Development of inclusive leadership skills 

  • Co-create Why Belonging Matters poster.
