All onsite activities

Woodhouse ignites a passion for adventure and personal challenge through an authentic Australian nature experience - oh, and a unique combination of totally awesome activities!

We're talking: The O.G Ninja Warrior Course.. a giant split-level maze... waterless waterslides... Frisbee golf... outdoor multi-dimensional bouldering... outdoor laser skirmish... orienteering and the list goes on!

Open every day, including public holidays, from 9am-5pm with 24-hour onsite assistance for guests. Visitors can stay for a day or a week, and we reckon we offer the most affordable, safe and convenient adventure experience in South Australia.

Our site offers fun for the whole family and while small children are welcome (free entry for under fives!) and will still have a great time, kids aged five and over will get the most out of the adventure equipment. If one of the obstacles on Challenge Hill is too difficult simply skip it! If there is a favourite challenge it can be done multiple times! Other favourite activities for smaller children include the split-level maze (The Labyrinth) and the tunnels in the adventure playground. Tube Slide riders must be at least 1 metre tall to ride alone, however a smaller child may go tandem with an adult in one of our big tubes.

Adventure Experiences included in Day Visit, Camping and Accommodation fees

WOODY'S CHALLENGE HILL

THE LABYRINTH
The world’s only giant split-level maze with a fun firefighter’s pole, a slide and two flights of stairs adjoining the 2.8m drop from top to bottom tier. There’s a 135m direct route from start to finish but the experience can be extended to 537m by finding quizzes and riddles at each of the 17 dead ends. The internal panels are interchangeable so the route is changed regularly to keep things exciting for return visitors. Allow 10-25 minutes.

DISC GOLF
Disc Golf shares the same joys and frustrations as traditional golf, whether it’s sinking a long putt or hitting a tree halfway down the fairway. Disc Golf players use a frisbee, which is thrown from a tee area to a target which is the elevated metal basket. Allow 30-45 minutes.

TUBE SLIDE (operates weekends and most public holidays - closed weekdays including during the school holidays)

As the only Tube Slide in South Australia, this is one of our most popular attractions. Think of a water-less water slide or a snow-free ski run where you slide down 100m+ synthetic slopes in big rubber rings that turn, accelerate, go up in bends and stop on their own. It’s fast, furious and fabulously fun! Allow 20-90 minutes. FULLY ENCLOSED SHOES ESSENTIAL!

BOULDERING
With 2.4-metre-high bouldering walls and more than 300 climbing holds, this all-weather activity is in our indoor action space, Stag’s Activity Centre.

Varying in length from 1.6 to 2.8 km, participants use basic map reading and navigational skills to find the posts around the property that spell the special answer and/or match the photos with the correct checkpoints. Allow 45-90 minutes.
