Senior Retreats

Purposeful outdoor experiences for students in Years 10–12, designed to support wellbeing, reflection, leadership and confidence for the journey ahead.

The senior years bring new pressures, decisions and opportunities. A Woodhouse Senior Retreat gives students the space to step away from everyday school routines, connect with one another and develop skills that support them through senior schooling and beyond.

Choose the outcome most relevant to your students, then select a day, 1-night or 2-night experience to suit your school’s goals, timetable and budget.

More than a school camp

Space to pause, connect and move forward

Each retreat combines facilitated workshops, outdoor activities, collaborative challenges and personal reflection. Students learn through experience while developing practical skills they can carry into school, relationships and life beyond the classroom.

Designed for senior students

Programs address the pressures, choices and transitions students experience throughout Years 10–12.

Focused on meaningful outcomes

Choose a retreat centred on wellbeing, reflection and future readiness, or leadership and teamwork.

Learning through experience

Workshops and reflection are balanced with movement, nature and practical outdoor challenges.

Flexible for your school

Choose a focused day experience, an overnight retreat or a more immersive 2-night program.

Choose your focus

What do your students need most?

Our Senior Retreats are organised into three outcome-led streams. Each stream includes a day retreat, 1-night retreat and 2-night retreat, with activities and discussions building in depth as the program length increases.

Focused

A meaningful experience delivered within one school day, generally running from approximately 9.30am–2.30pm.

Ideal for schools seeking targeted outcomes without an overnight stay.

Connected

1 Night / 2 Days

More time for students to connect, reflect and explore important themes through a balance of workshops and outdoor activities.

A strong middle ground between a day experience and a full retreat.

Immersive

2 Nights / 3 Days

Activities, discussions and reflections build progressively across three days, creating space for deeper learning and connection.
