Woodhouse Adventure Park is a leader in experience-based group accommodation, school camps and outdoor learning, as well as youth and family activity.

 A Woodhouse Activity Facilitator works amongst this varied range of offerings in a vibrant team, supervising and leading activity programs, with a primary focus of keeping participants safe and engaged.

Proudly owned and operated by Scouts SA for 65 years, the stunning 54-hectare property continues to see a renewed relevance amongst the greater South Australian public and offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be part of its growth and development.

While there is currently a greater need for staff available to work weekends (hosting birthday parties and running the Tube Slides) and in school holidays (day camp facilitation), weekday work may also available to deliver school camp packages, day excursions and corporate team building activities. 


Job location:

The position will be predominantly based at Woodhouse Adventure Park, Spring Gully Road, Piccadilly, with opportunity arising to be part of the team at Roonka River Adventure Park in Blanchetown.

This casual position is based at Woodhouse Adventure Park on a 54-hectare property in Piccadilly in the Adelaide Hills, which is part of the Camps & Adventure Parks division of Scouts SA.

Shifts are available during standard business hours 7 days a week (must have weekend availability).

The successful application will play a vital role in the smooth running of our reception/front office and delivery of a great visitor/guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Camps & Adventure Parks (Woodhouse Adventure Park, Roonka River Adventure Park and Camp Nyroca) in maintaining its reputation as a leader in experience-based group accommodation, school camps and outdoor learning, youth development activity, bespoke wedding retreats and outdoor adventure tourism.
  • Deliver exceptional service to a diverse range of customers – from handling initial enquiries and bookings, through to welcoming/checking in guests at Woodhouse and meeting their needs while on site.
  • Represent Camps & Adventure Parks in a professional and friendly way, engaging with new and existing customers as a vital ‘first point of call’ in the reception/front office via phone and email, and in person.
  • Develop an understanding of customer needs and use outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail, diligent administrative practices and excellent customer service values to deliver a positive experience that exceeds expectations.

The role requires a keen multi-tasker who is adaptable, energetic and positive. The successful application will have:
