In the old days they called ’em 'corporate retreats' - but there's really nothing 'corporate' about Woodhouse. Let’s just say that teams come here to 'reconnect by disconnecting'. It ain't the Hilton. And that's the way we like it... but it's not for everyone.
We know there’s nothing like the simple pleasures of simpler times to get the juices flowing. And if you share our vision and want your team to re-live a little piece of their childhood with the whole 'school camp' experience, we've got the place for you...
It's not your average conference venue... but where's the fun in planning an average conference?
Nothing maintains morale at conferences more than good food. While you're welcome to self-cater or share the love and support some of our favourite local eateries (or cellar doors), our resident catering team has our guests coming back time again, using only the highest quality and freshest ingredients and sourcing local Adelaide Hills produce wherever possible.
Together, the duo leading this team, take great pride in being able to combine the artistry of a commercially trained chef with the natural flair of a great home style cook.
With so much at your fingertips right here on site, you can easily plan your own "self-guided" adventures with our available activities and equipment, but why not let us tailor a team-building program for you? The only thing our Activity Facilitators like more than hanging out with you, is ordering you around while they do it.
We don't believe a 'cookie cutter' approach has any place here at Woodhouse and take great pride in tailoring every program to your requirements to achieve your desired outcomes. Flick us an email with your preferred dates/time frame, approx. number of guests and loose plan of how your retreat will play out and we'll get started!
"Clown Doctors held their annual conference at Woodhouse Activity Centre. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The Rymill Centre is excellent for conferences, as the bedrooms are very close to the conference rooms and dining room. The facilities are extensive and well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the setting in the bush is magic!" Vicki Barclay, The Humour Foundation
