What else happens at Woodhouse?

Well, plenty of school camps and Scouting activities for starters! Woodhouse has been proudly owned and operated by Scouts SA since 1957, so we have a strong focus on youth development and wholesome outdoor adventure. All profit from Woodhouse is returned to Scouts SA to help young South Australians achieve their personal best in all areas, including leadership, resilience, confidence and responsible independence.

Families and groups of friends are also welcome to come for the day or stay for the night on a camping adventure or in our chalets or bell tents. Our group accommodation is perfect for church, sporting and other community groups, with training and conference space, commercial kitchens and dining/rec rooms. Seeonee conference centre hosts corporate training and meetings, while heritage-listed Old Woodhouse Manor is popular for weekend wedding retreats.
