Woodhouse Bell Tents Packing List

Camping at Woodhouse is a magical experience year-round—and when you're glamping Woodhouse style in one of our cosy bell tents, you get all the charm of camping with a few extra comforts!

Whether you’re new to camping or a seasoned pro, a little preparation goes a long way. The list below is a great starting point to help you pack. Just be sure to consider the weather, planned activities, the needs of your group, and the length of your stay.

And don’t forget - label everything clearly so nothing goes astray during your adventure!

One of the best parts about glamping in our cosy bell tents is that you can pack lighter - some of the hard work is already done for you!

Your 5-metre bell tent comes equipped with:

  • 4 x single foam mattresses - 185cm long, 75cm wide and a super comfy 12cm thick (Tube Slide Bell Tent contains a double bed and mattress, plus x 2 single foam mattresses) (no bed or bath linen included unless pre-arranged for $40 per person per stay)
  • Lantern
  • 4 x deck chairs and a table
  • Private barbecue (plus spatula and tongs)
  • 2 litre stainless steel whistling kettle
  • Private campfire drum (seasonal, outside bushfire danger season)

Please be mindful that it can get quite cool at night, so make sure you have plenty of warm clothes. It's generally about 4 degrees cooler in Piccadilly than it is in the city.

  • Sun hat and beanie/gloves
  • Rain coat
  • Warm jacket
  • Closed toed shoes (must be worn on all activities for safety)
  • Long pants
  • Shirt
  • Jumper
  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Pack an extra set of clothes in case you wind up in Cox's Creek!
  • Thongs / shoes to wear in showers (warm, moist environments are the places where fungi/infection thrive, and if your feet are not protected by shower shoes, it's easy to pick one up.)

  • Sleeping bag / bedding for each camper (please note you can hire a linen pack from Woodhouse for $40 per person per stay)
  • Pillows
  • Extra blankets
  • Headlamps, torches (+ extra batteries)

You will have access to your own private BBQ as part of your bell tent hire (incudes spatula and tongs), and obviously campfire cooking outside of fire ban season. You may choose to bring:
