Compass: Finding Connection Through Leadership and Direction
Designed specifically for senior students navigating their final years of schooling, Compass is a retreat-style experience that fosters self-awareness, peer connection and future-focused leadership. Set against the tranquil backdrop of Woodhouse’s natural landscape, this program invites participants to pause, reflect and recalibrate.
Through facilitated discussion, outdoor exploration and collaborative challenges, students engage in meaningful conversations about identity, purpose and the pathways ahead. Compass encourages young people to examine their values, build emotional intelligence and consider their place in a broader community.
In stepping back from digital noise and academic pressure, participants create space to reconnect—with themselves, with others, and with what truly matters. The Compass experience nurtures confidence, direction and a grounded sense of leadership, equipping students with the clarity and resilience to face what comes next.
Sitting among 54 hectares of undulating gumtree studded countryside, we offer some of the best bunk-style accommodation facilities in the state.
Three completely unique buildings in their style and offerings, each features free Wi-Fi, modern well-equipped self-catering kitchen and large communal dining rooms and indoor activity spaces, with a total capacity to accommodate up to 192 guests in bunks.
Accommodating up to 82 guests (60 minimum paid occupancy)
Accommodating up to 60 guests (40 minimum paid occupancy on weekdays)
Accommodating up to 50 guests (25 minimum paid occupancy)
... and of course, plenty of space for tent camping, with shower, toilet and BBQ facilities included!
