WORKPLACE WELLBEING WORKSHOP | 3 HOURS
Leading with connection, awareness and purpose

Leadership is more than what happens between a leader and an individual. It shapes the relationships, culture and conditions around us, and these, in turn, influence how people experience their work and one another.
Ecosystems of Leadership is an immersive experience that invites leaders to step out of the everyday and explore leadership through a different lens: people, relationships, culture and systems.
Set within the natural environment of Woodhouse, the program uses experiential learning, reflection, mindfulness and nature-based activities to explore how the way we lead can influence the wider environment around us.
Participants are encouraged to slow down, notice what is happening and consider the conditions they are creating for themselves and others. The program explores practical approaches to communication, connection, self-awareness and adaptive leadership, with opportunities to reflect on how these translate into everyday workplace experiences.
Eight ways to lead with greater awareness, connection and intention.
Noticing our presence, patterns and the impact of everyday behaviours on those around us.
Using simple mindfulness practices to pause, notice and respond with greater intention.
Exploring how people, relationships, culture and workplace systems are interconnected.
Developing deeper listening and empathy before moving towards advice, solutions or action.
Exploring how genuine appreciation and recognition can strengthen connection and belonging.
Considering the role of values, meaning and purpose in shaping authentic leadership.
Distinguishing between what is happening within ourselves, between people and within the wider system, and considering what each level may need.
Developing a personal leadership intention and identifying one small behaviour that can make a meaningful difference in everyday work.
Rather than offering a formula for leadership, Ecosystems of Leadership creates space for leaders to explore, reflect and see their role within the bigger picture.
Notice personal patterns, reconnect with values and purpose, and develop a personal leadership vision.
Listen with empathy, use gratitude and specific recognition to make contribution visible, and strengthen relationships.
Distinguish between individual, relational and system-level issues, and consider how to respond at the appropriate level.
Participants leave with one practical leadership behaviour to integrate into everyday work.
The natural environment of Woodhouse provides a powerful setting for this exploration, offering perspective, connection and the opportunity to step outside familiar ways of thinking. A leadership experience grounded in nature, connection and the understanding that healthier workplaces are shaped by all of us.
