WORKPLACE WELLBEING WORKSHOP | 3 HOURS
Exploring the strengths, connections and conditions that help us adapt and flourish
Resilience is not simply about pushing through. It is about finding our way through change.
Resilience isn't about always being strong, having all the answers or simply pushing through difficult times. It is about understanding what helps us find our way through change, and the people, relationships, environments and practices that give us strength along the way.
Resilience, Meaning & Wellbeing invites participants to explore resilience through the lens of nature and healthy ecosystems. Just as ecosystems rely on diversity, connection, balance and supportive conditions to flourish, people and teams also need the right foundations to grow and adapt.
Set within the natural environment of Woodhouse, this three-hour experience combines reflection, practical activities and time outdoors to explore the personal and shared conditions that support wellbeing and resilience.
Grounded in positive psychology, strengths-based practice, meaning-making and wellbeing science, participants explore seven connected areas.
Recognising the qualities, resources and capabilities we already draw on when navigating change.
Reconnecting with what matters and considering how our values can guide decisions and responses.
Exploring the people, experiences, purpose and contribution that give our lives a sense of meaning.
Creating space to pause, notice what is happening and respond with greater awareness.
Recognising the role of relationships, belonging and supportive communities in building resilience.
Noticing the conditions that help us replenish, adapt and sustain our wellbeing over time.
Exploring how individuals, teams and workplaces can create conditions where people can flourish.
Participants are encouraged to move beyond the idea that resilience is something we simply have or don't have. Instead, the workshop explores resilience as something that can be supported through the conditions we create around ourselves and each other.
At Woodhouse, resilience is understood as more than getting through the difficult moments. It is about creating the conditions that help people reconnect with what matters, adapt to change and continue to grow.
